A 42-year-old man from Nebraska has been arrested by police after they discovered that he murdered 30 pedophiles over the last few years.
Joel Miller, dubbed a “hero” by locals, was caught attempting to kill a notorious child rapist by police who were responding to what they thought was an attempted robbery at an Omaha McDonald’s restaurant.
Officers arrived to find Miller pinning down the rapist, strangling him.
Police claim Miller pleaded with officers on the scene, saying, “just give me one more minute, I’ve almost got him,” but was forced to stop when officers arrested him.
During police questioning, Miller proudly admitted to killing over 30 convicted pedophiles in the area for over a decade.
Miller told investigators he started his murder spree after his girlfriend was brutally raped and murdered 15 years ago:
“I’ve been killing pedos for, damn, close to 15 years now,”
“It started a few years back, after a girl I was dating was raped and murdered.”
“I tracked the guy down myself, slit his throat.”
“I realized I had a real knack for it after that, so I kept going.”
He admitted to compiling a list of convicted sex offenders which he used to track down pedophiles, saying he became determined to seek justice after his friend’s daughter was molested and the pedophile escaped justice:
“A friend of mine – we go way back – his daughter was molested by his babysitter’s boyfriend.”
“Everyone knew he did it.”
“The police couldn’t prove it.”
“The girl, she’s only 7, she clammed right up.”
“Barely spoken since, and she won’t admit it.”
“Well, I did the world a favor when I cut his d*ck off and rammed it down his throat.”
Miller told police that his only regret is being caught because he had the names of three more local pedophiles on his list that he wanted to kill.
Police say that despite the “heroic” nature of the crimes, Miller is likely to be sentenced to death by a court.
In a statement, chief Mizner of the NE Police Department said:
“Although we can’t condone vigilate justice, you can’t help but ignore the positive effect it must have had on the community.”
“If the suspect really did kill all of those known sex offenders, then he most likely spared a lot of innocent lives in the process.”
“He understands the severity of what he has confessed to, but he seems to be at peace.”
